On Saturday, June 4, 2005 the Wooden Nickel Historical Museum dedicated the World's Largest Wooden Nickel to
Rotary International.
Each year this giant Wooden Nickel (13ft 4in diameter, 2,500 lbs) gets
resurfaced and dedicated to a different non-profit organization.
This year the dedication is sponsored by the San Antonio Airport Rotary Club in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Rotary International.
