On Saturday, June 3, 2006 (10am-3pm) the Wooden Nickel Historical Museum will dedicate the World's Largest Wooden Nickel to the

American Legion.

Each year this giant Wooden Nickel (13ft 4in diameter, 2,500 lbs) gets
resurfaced and dedicated to a different non-profit organization.

This year the dedication is sponsored by the
