On March 19, 2002 we had the 'groundbreaking' for
the World's Largest Wooden Nickel.
Drilling hole nine feet deep for telephone poles. Inserting the second pole.
Both poles are ready, guy wires are anchored. 6x6 lumber spread out.
The bottom half of the steel retaining ring has been attached to the telephone poles.
Measuring and drilling.

Night Projection of the Buffalo design - Finished
The design was laser printed on a transparancy, and then projected onto the Wooden Nickel at night.
The design was then traced, and painted the next day.
